Semaphore is a two studio facility in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village. Since opening in 2001 we have recorded hundreds of bands and might be right for you. While we hammer out a new site, feel free to contact us with any questions you might have about the studios.

Studio A: $350/day
HUGE live room with a Neotek IIIC console, Otari MTR 90 2” tape machine, Ampex 102 1/2” machine and Protools HD. Tons of amps, pedals, a grand piano, drum kit, organ, everything you need to make a record.
Studio B: $200/day
Small overdub/mix studio with Amek Big console, Pro Tools TDM, Tascam AT-80 tape machine.
You will need an engineer to run the session. If you don't have your own, here are the guys that run things around here:
Sanford Parker: $150/day
Eric Block: $100/day
Jeremy Lemos: $100/day
Freelance engineers are always welcome but will need an assistant for their first session.
Coming in from out of town? You can stay at the studio for $25 per night.
